Koru Silver is the second tier in your Koru journey. With Koru Silver you’ll experience a little extra comfort and care when you travel.
Koru Silver includes one Recognition Upgrade. This gives you the opportunity to request an upgrade to the next cabin class so you can enjoy a more premium flying experience, at no extra cost.
Recognition Upgrades are available on select Air New Zealand flights, when seats are available.
OneUp is a little like an auction where you bid what you’re willing to pay for an upgrade to the next cabin class, or Economy Skycouch. With Koru Silver, your OneUp offer is given an extra 10% weighting, improving your chances of securing an upgrade.
You can pay with either Airpoints or cash, and you pay the amount you offer per passenger. You will only get charged if your bid is successful.
[1] Koru Silver Lounge Vouchers are valid only when departing on Air New Zealand ticketed and operated flights. Vouchers may only be used to access Air New Zealand Koru Lounges and cannot be used for lounges operated by airline partners.
[2] If your Journey is with Air New Zealand or an Air New Zealand flight number and ticketed booking on a Qualifying Partner Airline Flight, and earns Status Points, it will count towards your Status Points Bonus.
