Do I need to book to travel within specific dates?

Accepted Answer

Yes. To be eligible, your booking must be for travel between 1-28 February or 1 May-30 June 2027.

Am I eligible to take part in Double Days?

If you are a Koru member who is a resident of New Zealand, with your country of residence marked as New Zealand in your Koru account, then you are eligible to take part in Double Days. If you’re not a Koru member, joining is free and only takes a few minutes. Join Koru here.

Will I qualify for the offer if I book via a travel agent?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You’ll qualify for 2x Status Points if you book eligible flights through a New Zealand-based travel agent or online travel agent, provided your booking is made and confirmed within the promotional period and your Koru number is added at the time of booking.

What qualifies as an eligible Air New Zealand operated flight?

Accepted Answer

An Air New Zealand operated flight (with an Air New Zealand flight number on the ticket) between New Zealand and Asia (Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Bali, Taipei, Tokyo), New Zealand and USA (Honolulu, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Houston, New York) or New Zealand and Canada (Vancouver) where Status Points are normally earned.

What qualifies as an eligible Air New Zealand partner operated flight?*

Accepted Answer

Qualifying flights include the below only when travelling on an Air New Zealand flight number: Cathay Pacific - flights between Auckland and Hong Kong, and Christchurch and Hong Kong. United - flights between Auckland and San Francisco, and Christchurch and San Francisco. Air China - flights between Auckland and Beijing. Flights with an NZ flight number that are not operated by Air New Zealand, and are not qualifying partner-operated flights, are not eligible for this offer.

How will I know that I have successfully qualified for the offer?

Accepted Answer

If the eligibility criteria have been met, and you make a qualifying booking during the promotional period, you will qualify to receive the 2x Status points. We will email you after Double Days has closed. Please note the Potential Flight Earnings display in your upcoming travel display will not reflect the 2 x Status Points
