Economy Skycouch™

It's your couch in the sky.

Your space to stretch out

Imagine a row of Economy seats you can turn into a couch after take-off. Clever, right? Comfy, too.

Skycouch™ seats are just like standard Economy seats, except each has an adjustable leg rest that can be raised or lowered individually. Lift the leg rests halfway up for a comfortable recline, or all the way up to a 90-degree angle to create a lie-flat couch space.

Whether you're travelling solo, together or as a family, Skycouch gives you more space to stretch out and relax without stepping up to a premium cabin. When you book a Skycouch, only your party is seated in your Skycouch row.

Tailor Skycouch your way

Skycouch can be enjoyed solo, together or as a family. Choose the setup that works for your journey.

Flying as a family

One adult travelling with one or two children can share a Skycouch. Depending on the age of your children and number of adults, you may need one Skycouch, two Skycouches, or a Skycouch and an additional Economy seat.

Flying together

Flying as a duo? Skycouch gives you space to put your feet up and relax. Each seat has its own adjustable footrest so you can customise your seating configuration to your comfort.

Flying solo

One Skycouch all to yourself. Enjoy all the space of a private three-seat Economy row. Put your feet up and relax or curl up and rest – the space is yours.

Travelling with young children

If you're travelling with young children, there are some important guidelines to help keep them safe when using Skycouch.

Your Skycouch experience

Skycouch is located in designated Economy rows beside the windows. Seat and row numbers vary by aircraft, so you can check where Skycouch is located on our seat maps or when selecting your seats.

Cabin crew guidance

At the start of your journey, your cabin crew will provide a briefing card and explain how to use your Skycouch throughout the flight.

Set up your space

To open out the Skycouch area, raise the armrests on the middle and window seats all the way up. This will give you a larger, uninterrupted space.

Stay secure while you relax

All Skycouch seats have seat belts. You'll also receive a safety kit containing two adult/child loop belts and a cuddle belt, with guidance on how to use them for your Skycouch configuration. If you're travelling with an infant, your cabin crew will provide an infant belt.
