Regional Events Sponsorship Programme
Air New Zealand is proud to support communities across Aotearoa through our Regional Events Sponsorship Programme. We're helping bring people together and celebrate what makes each place unique, proudly backing 20 events across 20 destinations nationwide. From local festivals to regional showcases, we're committed to connecting New Zealanders with the moments that matter.
Department of Conservation
The Department of Conservation (DOC) is a long-standing partner of Air New Zealand. We support them with a range of biodiversity projects alongside some of New Zealand's Great Walks, the Conservation Dogs Programme, and help to transport threatened species and conservation dogs.
Koru Care
We have partnered with Koru Care for over 35 years. Koru Care gives children with serious medical conditions magical experiences. With our help, they've flown thousands of children to amazing destinations like Disneyland in California, Dreamworld on the Gold Coast, or around New Zealand on special, themed flights. These once-in-a-lifetime trips let the kids enjoy themselves with their families, as all children should. Our crew help make each trip memorable, from arrival at the airport to getting them home safe again.
Queenstown Resort College
QRC is New Zealand's premier school of Tourism & Hospitality Business Management with campuses in both Queenstown and Paihia. Since 2019, our partnership has focused on creating a pipeline of future Kiwi leaders in tourism and hospitality. Air New Zealand helps QRC staff and students to stay connected through an annual travel fund as well as offering leadership, curriculum support and internships. Together we continue to promote the tourism industry as an exciting and sustainable sector offering a variety of career options.

Every Corner Project
Through Air New Zealand’s Every Corner Project, in 2025, we provided $1.2 million in funding to help registered charities, schools/kura, and hapū give back to nature. The funding supporting more than 100 projects across Aotearoa New Zealand.
