Air NZ App features
Add your booking to the app and you’ll have access to the following features so you can quickly and easily manage your booking. If you’re a Koru member and include your Koru number when making a booking, it will automatically show in your app.
Check in
Use the app to check in before you even head to the airport.
Digital boarding pass
Use your device to present your digital boarding pass during the boarding process.
Stay up to date
Receive real-time flight updates and day of travel notifications.

- Scan your digital boarding pass to print bag tags at a kiosk and track the status of your baggage.
- Hold boarding passes for a group of up to 9 people.
- Access the Koru Lounge, if eligible.

Koru member features
As a Koru member, you can also:
- view your Airpoints balance and recent activity
- track your Status Points
- add your passport details for a quicker check-in, as well as receive an alert if it’s due to expire
- use your digital Koru card to earn Airpoints with Koru partners
- save an Airpoints earning credit card to use for payment and earn Airpoints.
Add a booking to the app
You can add your booking by:
- Selecting ‘Flights’
- Selecting ‘Add booking’
- Entering your booking reference and last name
