Nesting Guide
Skynest experience guide
Here's what to expect before, during, and after your session, so you can arrive relaxed and prepared to make the most of your nesting time.
- 1
Preparing for travel
A little planning before you fly will help you get the most out of your Skynest session.
Plan for comfort
Choose comfortable clothing for your journey, or pack a light layer if you think you'll want to change before your session.
Prepare your entertainment
If you plan to read, watch, or listen to something, download content in advance and bring headphones as there's no inflight entertainment in the nests.
Some suggestions of what to prepare:
Pack light for the nest
Skynest is designed for rest, so plan ahead to bring only what you'll need.
Water is the only drink allowed in the nests. Snacks aren't permitted.

Onboard: Before your Skynest session
The first Skynest session (Session A) will take place after the first meal service, and run for four hours. The second session (Session B) will begin once cabin crew have changed the bedding in the nests, and run for four hours. After the second session has ended, the second meal service will commence. Skynest sessions are planned outside of meal times, so you'll be able to eat before or after your session.
We'll let you know when it's almost time for your session to start so you can get ready.
You'll receive a reminder on your inflight entertainment screen:
- Approximately 30 minutes before your session
- Approximately 5 minutes before your session
If you happen to miss the notifications, our cabin crew will come get you.
Depending on operational requirements, Skynest session start times may vary slightly and could begin a little earlier or later than planned.
Get ready to nest
Take a moment to prepare before your session begins.
Change into something more comfortable if you'd like.

That's it, nester!
We hope your nesting time was blissful.
Return to your seat
Return to your seat refreshed and ready for the rest of your journey.
Nestiquette
Yes, it's a thing. Like etiquette, but fluffier. These are your gentle guidelines that help everyone get the most out of their Skynest snooze, so every nap is calm, quiet, and cloud-nine comfy.
How to prepare
• Pack light, it's a Skynest, not a studio apartment.
• Bathroom first, bliss later. Trust us. There's nothing worse than settling in and realising... you should've gone.
• Dress the way you sleep best: cosy, comfy, content.
Quiet mode: ON
• Skynest is a space for switching off. Please do the same with your device notifications.
• Use headphones for any audio adventures whether that's a podcast, playlist or pink noise.
• Earplugs and an eye mask are provided too, because good rest is a team effort (and they're yours to keep).
Your bed, your nap
• Each nest is designed for one guest and one peaceful rest. That means solo snoozes only please, no musical nests or tag-teaming.
• Your nest comes with its own curtains for privacy. Draw them closed and drift away.
• Visitors aren't permitted, and little adventurers under 15 years old can nest one day, just not yet.
• As for snoring? Totally normal. Statistically, someone's going to do it. It might be you. That's okay. Earplugs are provided for everyone, just in case.
Keep it fresh
• In case you're wondering, yes our nests are reset and refreshed between each guest.
• Shoes off, fresh socks on. Complimentary socks are provided in your Nestcessities amenity kit.
• Snacks stay outside the nest. Crumbs in bed are the fastest way to ruin a good nap.
• Water is welcome, but anything else is best enjoyed later.
• Go easy on perfumes and potions. Not everyone dreams in vanilla-sandalwood-cloud-musk.
Move gently
• Enter and exit quietly. Your fellow nesters may be dreaming, let's not wake them mid-plot.
• Climb ladders with grace rather than gymnastics.
• Respect the nest. Everyone has their own cosy zone, keep yours and let others keep theirs.
• This is a shared space, so gentle movement makes a big difference.
Safety first
• Keep your seatbelt fastened over your blanket. That way, if the seatbelt sign is illuminated, our cabin crew won't need to wake you. Just keep it visible and you're good to snooze.
Time to unwind Enjoy your slice of calm
