Refund Seat Select or Extra Bags

Please complete the form below if you're eligible for a refund of your Seat Select or Extra Bag purchases. You have 14 days after the last flight in your itinerary to apply.

Seat Select refunds are generally only given if we required you to move from a prepaid seat and were unable to give you a suitable alternative. Here are the full Seat Select terms and conditions.

If we lost your bag, we are very sorry for the inconvenience. Please see our policy on mishandled baggage, and we will do everything we can to help.

If we lost or couldn't carry an extra bag that you purchased to add to your baggage allowance due to a disrupt, please request a refund of the Extra Bag fee below. There are more details in our full Extra Bags terms and conditions.

Refunds may take up to 30 days to process and will be credited to your original form of payment. 

Air New Zealand accepts no liability for any lost funds or costs you may incur if the details you provide are not accurate.
