Qualmark® is New Zealand tourism's official mark of quality. Many accommodation and tourism businesses listed here carry the Qualmark®, which means they've been independently assessed as professional and trustworthy, so you can book and buy with confidence.
Every accommodation provider that has been Qualmark® graded has undergone a rigorous assessment and licensing process to become part of the Qualmark® licensing system. They'll meet your essential requirements of cleanliness, safety, security and comfort; and offer a range and quality of services appropriate to their star grade. Qualmark® features a range of accommodation categories suitable for any type of traveller.

|
Features intimate, exclusive and highly individual establishments which offer the finest of locations, facilities, activities and service. How to identify a Qualmark® property?
A star rating has been applied to each New Zealand property featured in the
Air New Zealand Holidays offering. Those properties which are Qualmark® can
be identified by a logo which will appear in the individual hotel profile.

What is Qualmark Green?
As New Zealand's official mark of quality for tourism, all businesses that have a Qualmark rating are accessed on their environmental performance. This is included in minimum requirements and recognises businesses for initiatives in energy, waste, water, conservation and community.
This is part of the New Zealand tourism's commitment to looking after New Zealand for future generations to continue to enjoy.
Minimum requirements include basic environment practices and completing an environmental review of the business. Those businesses that are performing at the top levels will be engaging in activities that include:
