While you do not get a meal or drinks with our Seat and Seat + Bag products, you'll be able to purchase snacks and drinks from our Inflight Bites menu using a credit card or pre-paid voucher at the airport (cash is accepted on Virgin Australia flights only).

With The Works and Works Deluxe products, once you've enjoyed your meal and drink service, you'll be able to order additional drinks, free of charge, from a selection of beverages from the Inflight Bites menu.

Inflight entertainment

Entertainment is not included with Seat and Seat + Bag fares for flights operated by Virgin Australia (NZ7000).

A portable inflight entertainment device which will be available between takeoff and landing may be available to hire (subject to availability).

Baggage allowances

Airpoints Gold Elite and Gold members can take an additional carry-on bag (up to 7kg) with any of the four products.

Airpoints Gold Elite, Gold and Koru members can take an additional checked bag (up to 23kg) with the Seat + Bag, The Works and Works Deluxe products. Seat only product includes no checked baggage allowance for any passengers.

Lounge access

With our Works Deluxe product you'll receive lounge access when departing from airports where Air New Zealand has an airport lounge.
 
Passengers will also have access to the Qantas lounge when departing from Adelaide and Perth. There is no lounge access in Cairns or the Sunshine Coast.
 
If travelling via an indirect route lounge access is not available in the transit airport. e.g.  if travelling Auckland --> Brisbane --> Cairns, lounge access is available in Auckland only, not Brisbane.
 
If travelling from a regional New Zealand airport lounge, access is available when transiting in New Zealand. e.g. if travelling Dunedin --> Christchurch --> Brisbane, lounge access is available in both Dunedin and Christchurch.
