The fifth largest US domestic airline employing nearly 35,000 aviation professionals worldwide, US Airways, US Airways Shuttle and US Airways Express operate approximately 3,800 flights per day and serve more than 230 communities in the U.S, Canada, Europe, the Caribbean and Latin America.
It has recently been announced that US Airways will be leaving the Star Alliance on 30 March 2014 and the frequent flyer partnerships between Airpoints and US Airways will end on 29 June 2014. This means a few changes for Airpoints™ members when they book to fly with US Airways.
After 30 March 2014 and up to 29 June 2014, you’ll continue to earn Airpoints Dollars™ on US Airways flights at partner airline rates. You’ll also still be able to book partner awards on US Airways flights until 29 June 2014.
However, after 30 March 2014 you’ll no longer earn Status Points on US Airways flights and Star Alliance Silver and Gold benefits won’t be available to Silver, Gold and Elite members when travelling on US Airways flights.
