TAM is Brazil’s largest airline serving 42 domestic airports and 18 international destinations. It has an extensive South American network as well as linking Brazil with east coast USA and several European cities.
It has recently been announced that TAM Airlines will be leaving the Star Alliance on 30 March 2014.
After 30 March 2014, you’ll no longer be able to earn Airpoints Dollars™ and Status Points on TAM Airlines flights. Star Alliance Silver and Gold benefits will no longer be available to Silver, Gold and Elite members. Partner Awards can be booked up until 30 March 2014, for travel up to a year later.
