From 31 October Shanghai Airlines will no longer be a member of Star Alliance or an Airpoints partner. You'll still be able to earn Airpoints Dollars™ and Status Points on eligible flights on Shanghai Airlines until 31 October 2010. If you need to claim for missing points you will be able to do this until 30 April 2010. Reward tickets on Shanghai Airlines can be booked until 31 October 2010 for travel up to 12 months later.
