Stylish and cosmopolitan, Coronet Peak is one of the South Island’s most popular mountain resorts renowned for its roller coaster terrain across a series of interconnected bowls offering exhilarating skiing and riding for all levels.
The 691 skiable acres are accessed by a six-seater express chair, two express quads, a T-Bar and four surface conveyor lifts. The dedicated learner and novice area provides a confidence building environment with two surface conveyor lifts, beginner handle tow, double chairlift and has its own snowmaking system. The mountains longest run, the M1-Big-Easy, is 2.4 km long and popular with intermediate to advanced skies and riders. Combine this with the sophisticated facilities in the striking new base building with magnificent views and world class facilities including several eateries, a huge heated deck, snowsports school, retail, rental and repair areas and a licensed crèche. A brand new, state of the art, fully automated snowmaking system helps Mother Nature in the provision of consistently good skiing and riding from early June until the end of September. The world class facilities combine with the regions greatest variety of terrain to provide New Zealand’s premier winter experience.
