The new International Lounge in Los Angeles brings a piece of New Zealand right to the heart of southern California. This lounge is double the size of the previous facility and is designed to allow travellers to relax in the hectic Los Angeles airport environment.
Travellers will be surrounded by elements taken from the New Zealand landscape and culture, starting with entry to the lounge showcasing a black feature wall designed around the young, rough landscape of this country. The black for which New Zealand is so well known in the sporting world is complemented by New Zealand paua laminate. The New Zealand experience is continued through the rest of the lounge with native rimu veneers, New Zealand wool carpets, New Zealand made furniture and joinery items, art from some of New Zealand's leading emerging artists and a colour palette designed around the natural New Zealand landscape.
