(Not available on some of our 777-200 aircraft)
Shows you where you are, as well as interesting facts like outside temperature, speed and time to destination.
* Some seats have monitors stowed in the arm of their seat rather than the back of the seat in front of them. For safety reasons, these monitors must be stowed for taxi, take-off and landing. This means you can still listen to music during these times of the flights, but as your monitor needs to be stowed, you won't be able to watch a movie etc until crew advise your screen can be deployed.
** For passengers flying between New Zealand, Australia, the Pacific Islands, Honolulu and Bali your entertainment options depend on the product purchased. Find out more.
Travelling on our new 787-9 or refurbished 777-200 aircraft?
You will enjoy our new capacitive touch, high-definition screens which have an audio jack so you can use your own headphones, if you wish. Developed right here in New Zealand, the innovative design is similar to an app on your mobile phone or tablet. The intuitive app-based design lets us bring you more features and entertainment than ever before, and makes it a breeze to use. You’ll find a wealth of fresh content, including movies with stacks of new releases in High Definition. Some of the new features include search, audio shuffle, and a TripAdvisor app. You can also message the crew from your seat and watch a helpful video about your seat.
On our domestic flights
On all domestic flights, Air New Zealand provides our inflight magazine "Kia Ora". This monthly publication covers travel, sport, enterprise and lifestyle stories. You are welcome to take a copy of "Kia Ora" away with you.
On domestic Jet Services on A320 and 737 aircraft, an inflight quiz is also available on the entertainment system throughout most of your flight.
