If you have purchased a ticket on an Air New Zealand operated flight that is also ticketed on an Air New Zealand ticket number, you can use your Airpoints Dollars™ to upgrade.
From 12 July 2012 to purchase an upgrade using Airpoints Dollars, Airpoints Gold, Silver and Jade members will need to request a OneUp™ upgrade. Gold Elite members will still be able to request one class Standby Upgrades at current fixed rates.
Find out what the OneUp changes mean for Airpoints members.

More information.
